Jo Jam Chutney started quite humbly as a family favourite recipe, I was making it while in England as a reminder of home. There was always a jar in my fridge and it wasn’t long till friends branded it ‘Jo Jam’ and began requesting their own to take home.
Requests turned into online orders and before long it was stocked on the shelves of local delis, coffee shops and wine bars. My side hustle quickly outgrew my tiny London apartment, moving production to a commercial kitchen to keep up with demand - all during a lockdown!
Early in 2021, I decided to return home to NZ and bring the signature sweet, yet savoury flavour of Jo Jam with me. Every batch is made to be enjoyed — its artisan style means a whole lot of care goes into each jar so you enjoy every last bite.
